As the team behind the Agentic Hub, we’re focused on creating autonomous, self-learning AI agents that operate across global ecommerce. Whether it’s supporting customer service, streamlining merchant onboarding, improving payment performance, or powering entirely new shopping experiences, our mission is simple: help brands deliver real-time, context-aware local experiences while enabling our internal teams to work smarter. 

Our goal has always been to help employees and partners experience an AI system that can act autonomously and intelligently, while ensuring strong oversight and safety at every layer. 

Diving Deeper Into the Day-to-Day: Ownership and Innovation 

The initial development team was established in Madrid, supported by product leadership based in Ireland. After investing in upskilling our team across modern AI frameworks and tools, we’re now entering a new phase of growth, with the team set to double in size.  

Our team is fast-paced and product-led. We genuinely believe in failing fast. If you haven’t done something before, that’s not a blocker. Try it, document what you learn, share it, and improve from there. The biggest barrier to progress isn’t failure, it’s waiting for everything to be perfect. We want to get tools into people’s hands early, see how they’re used, and refine from real-world feedback. 

A typical day is never quite the same, especially with major AI providers releasing updates at a rapid pace. In general, our work revolves around: 

  • Running daily syncs 
  • Reviewing production agents and newly released models 
  • Leveraging AI extensively for strategy development and experimentation 
  • Monitoring performance and maintaining end-to-end observability across the platform 
  • Continuously exploring improvements in retrieval, chunking, vector strategies, and workflow design 

Because our work sits at the intersection of AI research, engineering, and global operations, our solutions are diverse and powerful. Some of the areas we’re working on include: 

  • Customer Service Agents: Localised, real-time support trained on ESW’s global commerce data. 
  • Payment Optimisation: Adaptive AI that adjusts payment flows to increase conversion and reduce fraud. 
  • Agentic Commerce: Connecting brands into AI-driven shopping ecosystems that understand local context. 
  • Onboarding & Configuration: Agents that simplify and personalise merchant onboarding for different regions.
