Value-added services
ESW’s End-to-End Localisation Engine
Marketing, email and storefront translations are here. ESW is your single source for language translation and localisation throughout the entire shopper journey. No matter which markets you are in, your customers can navigate their entire journey in their own language. From marketing to storefront pages to checkout and post-purchase, elevate the consumer experience with end-to-end translations in every market.
Leading checkout and payments
Embedded checkout
Along with our fully localised hosted checkout, we are pleased to offer embedded checkouts as an option for new retailers. You can now choose the checkout experience that best suits your needs, gives your shoppers the best experience and increases conversion tracking.
Expanded gift card options
This product release increases the number of gift card vendors, that can be onboarded, to more than 40. Expanding the number of vendors means you have even more opportunities to increase incremental revenue and give your shoppers the payment options they want.
Onboarding and retailer experience
Consumer messaging
Say what you need to say when and where you want to say it with our enhanced consumer messaging. You can now create and manage the messages your shoppers see in multiple languages and for multiple countries.
Place important messages where they matter most during the checkout flow like above or beside the delivery method, address or payments section. Create, manage and edit your messages all from the ESW Service Portal (ESP).
ESW service portal enhancements
We are excited to announce several ways we’re making working with ESW easier than ever.
- We’ve implemented a unified ESW app experience which gives you a consistent experience to access ESW business applications, including a simplified login and access management.
- Learn about ESW and self-serve when and how you want to with our ESP chatbot. This chatbot leverages AI so you can more easily configure and use your ESW platform.
- We have updated the content and look of our pricing advisor screens to be more intuitive and user-friendly.
- We’ve enhanced security and user management with our newly implemented permission-based roles. You can now categorise roles and users and integrate your employee directories to manage user hierarchies and access. This update streamlines operations, improves security and enhances all users’ experiences.
Next day sandbox access
New clients get full access to the ESW Service Portal (ESP) within 24 hours of signing. In one day, you can log into your branded sandbox environment and explore localised checkouts, consumer email, the returns portal, the customer service portal, recommended pricing models for your markets and more. You can also start testing integrations so you are ready to launch with confidence.
Commerce integration platform
Easy platform migration
We know the importance of a smooth, efficient transition. That’s why we developed a solution specifically tailored for those moving from other solutions to ESW. We make sure that your cross-border operations continue without disruption.
Omnichannel fulfilment and returns
Global order orchestration and multi-origin orders
You can now give your customers access to more inventory by fulfilling international orders from any inventory location, regardless of shopper and inventory origin. You can split orders between inventory locations and manage orders with multiple shipments, all while providing a consistent experience for your international shoppers.
Pick up, drop off (PUDO) expansion
We’ve expanded our pick up, drop off (PUDO) capabilities in the United States by integrating with key carriers’ pick up and drop off locations.
This means that your US-based shoppers will have more choices when it comes to package delivery and making returns. They have the flexibility to choose pick up and drop off locations that are closer to their homes, workplaces or other spots that are convenient for them.
Additional enhancements
To make returns more convenient for your shoppers and more efficient for your business, we’re unveiling three enhancements to our returns solution.
- Shopper Paid Return Labels via ESW – Now, shoppers will be able to pay and choose their preferred return carrier through ESW. They obtain a convenient return experience with full visibility of the entire process from the time they ship the return to the time they receive their refund or replacement product.
- Label-in-a-box – With our Global Returns Platform API, you can easily provide pre-printed return labels while offering the option for shoppers to also register their return via the Returns Portal.
Additional releases
Leading checkout and payments – Enhancements to our email validation help correct common email input errors through automated smart suggestions so shoppers receive all the updates they need.
With our multiple addresses feature, shoppers can save and select from multiple addresses for added ease and convenience.
Commerce integration platform – We’re pleased to announce that we now support the Hyva theme for Adobe Commerce Cloud users.
Omnichannel fulfilment and returns –We’ve added estimated delivery date (EDD) capabilities for subregions in France. This will help increase checkout conversion rates by allowing you to give shoppers more accurate delivery dates.
Platform enhancements – Our tenant provisioning service (TPS) is designed to streamline and enhance the onboarding process for new brands, ensuring a faster, more reliable and efficient experience. This reduces time-to-market and improves operational efficiency.
We have also improved API gateway, a crucial component designed to manage and streamline the flow of traffic between various services and applications. By deploying the Reverse Proxy service into a separate Node Pool, we aim to enhance our system’s ability to handle high volumes of traffic efficiently.
Commerce integration platform – Light Touch Integration (LTI) storefront messaging displays special messages on your ecommerce site. The first use case is for payment messages, such as “Pay in 4 instalments with [buy now, pay later vendor].” Watch for additional messaging capabilities in future releases.
The country selector enhancements let LTI retailers configure how your storefront behaves when a shopper changes their country. This includes options for reloading the page, keeping query parameters in the URL and handling redirections within the same domain.
Order-level discount tuning improves how order-level discounts and promotions are applied and rounded. It introduces the use of categories to differentiate between physical and digital products and ensures that discounts are calculated accurately based on their type (flat or percentage).
Country flag for pricing streamlines the configuration process for distinguishing between dynamic and fixed-price countries. Instead of configuring pricing types in multiple places, the system will now consume this data from the centralised country configuration in the countries and zones section of the ESW Service Portal.
All product releases are subject to full retailer suitability testing and scoping requirements before go-live.
