The Challenge

Square Enix was seeking a hands-on, full-service ecommerce provider with a robust platform that could support its impressive growth and expansion into new markets.

ESW was tasked with building Square Enix’s online store with fraud protection and restructuring its full ecommerce business infrastructure.

The Solution

ESW built a platform for Square Enix that was specially equipped to handle extremely high sales velocity (up to 350 orders per second) while maintaining industry-leading fraud protection (10x lower than industry) without slowing conversion rates.
