Independent analysis by the Great Place to Work Institute Ireland based directly on employee feedback leads to ESW accreditation
ESW has been accredited with the Great Place to Work award, for the second year running. The Award is based entirely on employee feedback as part of an extensive and anonymous survey, with independent analysis of the results.
As a company, ESW has been and continues to be committed to having a great workplace culture, and investing in our employees. As a high-energy, fast-growing business, we know the importance of offering opportunities for growth to our staff both professionally and personally.

ESW’s values are fundamental to the company culture and incorporate Entrepreneurship, Empowerment, Ethics, Enjoyment and Excellence. These principles guide our actions and unites and defines our approach in everything we do to achieve our goals, both individually and as a company.
Through these, we have developed a culture through which our employees are supported, support each other, and work together to improve the world for others, through a variety of charitable initiatives, such as charity bake sales and fun runs.
Learning and sharing knowledge through team cross-pollination is a key aspect of the ESW culture and helps the company to reach and exceed best in class standards and lead the way in e-commerce technology.
Looking back on a successful 2020
While the pandemic made life challenging for everyone, with a move to remote working for the entire office and the worry that Covid created, from a business perspective 2020 was a successful year for us despite the challenges.
In addition to assisting over 350 staff in working from home with the required equipment and training, we onboarded 160 people remotely, making sure to welcome these new team members to the ESW family despite them not being able to physically meet their coworkers.
To keep our staff healthy we also created special Health and Wellness activities such as yoga and a charity 5k run.
Looking forward to 2021
Culture remains a focus for ESW moving forward and we aim to continue to build and grow a workforce that is diverse, inclusive, and talented. In fact, we are hiring for many roles in key areas such as Technology, Product, Payments, Client, Global Logistics, Sales and Finance.
Using the GPTW survey results helps ESW to tailor our people strategy to the needs of our employees, helping to continue to make ESW a Great Place to Work now and into the future.
