Our Story

ESW was built at the intersection of checkout and logistics; at the point where a brand’s global ambition meets the operation that has to carry it. From the beginning, we understood that selling internationally wasn’t just a technology problem. It was an operational one.

As the demands of global commerce grew, so did the model. Fulfillment, delivery, returns, compliance, localization, performance – each capability added not because it was adjacent, but because brands needed someone to own the whole thing, not hand them another tool and walk away.

That is still what drives ESW. Today the platform brings payments, operations, compliance and data together as one composable operating model. Behind it sits real institutional weight: ESW is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Asendia, a joint venture between La Poste and Swiss Post; two of the world’s most established postal and logistics organizations. That foundation gives ESW the scale, the infrastructure and the long-term backing to absorb what global commerce demands at the highest level.
