ESW’s New US Hub | Built for Our People

Modern glass office towers situated along a waterfront, with a large parking area in the foreground and a city skyline visible across the river. The reflective high-rise buildings overlook the water under a clear blue sky, surrounded by trees, walkways, and neighboring office and residential developments.

Behind an open shelving divider with plants and decorative accents, a glass-walled meeting room features tan conference chairs around a large table. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook a waterfront city skyline, filling the bright, contemporary workspace with natural light.

After spending several years at the old location, what inspired ESW to change its US hub?

This move was a chance to build a space that really reflects how our US team works today, and the direction we see the hub going. We wanted somewhere that felt welcoming from the moment you walk in, with more spaces for people to connect and spend time together.

Being part of the journey from start to finish made it especially rewarding to watch the space come to life and to help shape an environment designed around our people.

Modern office kitchen and café area with wood-finished cabinetry, coffee machines, and a refreshment station. Several dining tables and wooden chairs are arranged throughout the space, while large windows provide natural light and views of nearby high-rise buildings and a waterfront. Contemporary pendant lighting and clean, minimalist décor create a bright and welcoming environment for employees to relax, eat, and connect.

What perks and benefits can our people expect in the new office?

Our new space provides a bright, thoughtfully designed workspace in a fantastic location. Overlooking the Hudson River with stunning views of the New York skyline, it’s easily accessible by public transport and surrounded by restaurants, shops, and waterfront amenities, offering our people plenty of opportunities to recharge, and enjoy the day.

Beyond the day-to-day, the space comes alive with cultural events organised by our employee led culture squad throughout the year. Having the right setting for those moments goes a long way in building a real sense of community.

In the background, white storage lockers line the wall beside glass-fronted meeting rooms and office workspaces. A large digital display screen is mounted on the wall, while pendant lighting and an open ceiling create a modern, professional atmosphere.

How does the new space support and strengthen ESW’s culture?

We designed the space to strike a balance, open and social where it counts, but with quieter corners when people need to focus. It’s made collaboration easier too when it comes to team meetings or dropping in with colleagues visiting from our other global hubs.

What would you say to someone considering joining ESW in the US?

The US hub offers the best of both worlds, the chance to work within a close-knit local team while collaborating with colleagues across ESW’s global hubs. It’s a welcoming environment where our people are encouraged to share ideas, take ownership, and make a visible impact. For anyone who wants to play a part in shaping how we work, it’s an exciting time to join ESW in the US.
